Visual I Ching

Oliver Perrottet created the Visual I Ching as a new way to work with the traditional I Ching oracle. His deck has two parts. The eight large cards represent the basic trigrams: Heaven, Earth, Fire, Water, Thunder, Wind, Lake and Mountain. Each has a certain color, picture and trigram. (The cards for Wind and Fire are to the left.) The 64 small cards represent all possible combinations. Each blends the color, picture and trigrams of two basic cards. (The card for Fire-Wind is to the right.) Thus, you can learn and absorb the I Ching meanings through visual associations. This set includes the companion book The Visual I Ching: A New Approach to the Ancient Chinese Oracle. In it, Perrottet describes each of the cards and offers many games and exercises. There is also a reference card, layout sheet and notepad.
