Gendron Tarot

[Sun] [Four of Pentacles] Melanie Gendron is a "visionary surrealist." In the Gendron Tarot, she has created a deck that is a blend of cultures, races and spiritual traditions from all over the world. This deck is inspired by the Sacred Feminine as Gendron feels the tarot is a gateway to Her wisdom. The four suits and the major arcana cards each have certain energies associated with them. Four Gods or Goddesses from different cultures are assigned to each card and suit, one for each of the four directions. Certain animals are also related to each card and suit. For example, the Lovers shows a hummingbird, dolphin and snake. In the Gendron Tarot, the Knight and Page are replaced by a Prince and Princess.
