The Fortune Teller's set by Jane Lyle shows how to do readings with a regular deck of playing cards. The set includes a 160-page book The Fortune Teller's Deck and 54 playing cards especially designed for fortune-telling. The 40 numbered cards have different symbols in the corners to show position - upright or reversed. The background of each Ace reflects the season its suit represents. The face cards (King, Queen and Jack) have been redrawn to hint at their meanings. For example, the Jack of Diamonds holds a piece of paper to indicate "communication and news." Two jokers are wild cards. The cards have a brownish tinge to suggest age. This deck is only available in this deck/book set. Lyle is also the creator of the Lovers' Tarot and Secret Tarot.
